Paulig’s roastery project in a nutshell
In Paulig’s coffee roastery project, premises for both production and offices are being built at Vuosaari harbour, and operations will be moved there in the course of 2009. In the completion stage, the roastery will have a capacity in excess of 40 million kilos, which is more than 100 million packets of coffee per year. Capacity can be boosted as demand grows by expanding the production process and extending the building. The production plant will serve the markets of Finland and the export countries. The main designers are Tommila Architects Ltd and Pöyry Engineering Oy, the construction is the responsibility of Lemminkäinen Group company Lemcon Ltd, and the interior design is in the hands of Studio Bergroth & ABBD. The investment amounts to almost 120 million euros.
